Military District Command 0411/KM carries out several social service activities to commemorate the 78th Kartika Fighting Day 2023.

Previously, several series of activities had been carried out such as Blood Donation Social Services and providing compensation. Today (Thursday, 14/12/2023) simultaneously, TNI AD Units once again synergized with Government Apparatus and related elements to carry out several activities in commemoration of the 78th HJK in 2023.

As carried out at the Capit Urang Tourism location, Purwoasri Village, North Metro District, with the theme "TNI-AD Together with the People United with Nature for the Republic of Indonesia", Dandim 0411/KM Lt. Col. Arh Rendra Febrandari Suparman, S.I.P. directly led the Vicon activities together with Chief of Staff General TNI Maruli Simanjuntak, M.Sc.

Appearing to attend the 78th HJK commemoration activities, Kasdim Major Inf Wawan Cahya Gunawan, SH., North Metro Police Chief AKP Andrianus, Wilastri Subdistrict Head, S.I.P M.M, Purwoasri Subdistrict Head Sutoyo, S.Pd., Officers, NCOs, Tamtama, PNS and Persit KCK Kodim 0411/KM as well as invited guests consisting of community organizations, students and local residents.

After carrying out the vicon, the activity continued with providing compensation and basic food packages to Veterans, Warakawuri, poor people and orphaned children. Furthermore, 475 trees of various types were planted, including 100 Sengon trees, 100 Acacia trees, 100 Mahogany trees, 100 Avocados, 50 Mango trees and 25 Durian trees.

Don't forget that the activities are complemented by environmental cleaning, including cleaning the environment at the Purwoasri morning market, North Metro District and the banks of the Bunut river, West Hadimulyo District, Central Metro District.

In his speech, Dandim 0411/KM Lt. Col. Arh Rendra Febrandari Suparman, S.I.P. said, "This activity is a representation of us as the TNI, especially the Army, which must not forget its identity as a people's army," he said.

"Even though the TNI-AD's main task is as a component of protecting state sovereignty, the TNI-AD's contribution to supporting the development of people's welfare must be encouraged, one of which is through the social service activities we are carrying out today," concluded the Dandim.

Not only in the Metro City area, Pabung Kodim 0411/KM Major Inf Agus Waluyo led the HJK Commemoration Social Service activities in Central Lampung Regency. Accompanied by Danramil 411-11/Terbanggi Besar, Captain Inf Tri Yuli Priono and Chairman of Persit KCK Branch 12 Koramil 411-11/Terbanggi Besar, Kodim 0411/KM worked together with the Chairman of PSMTI Lamteng Hendrik and members, Sekcam Terbanggi Besar Ahmad Sopan Musa, S. Kom, M. M. visited the Baitus Sholihin Yukum Jaya Terbanggi Besar Orphan Foundation, Lamteng Regency to carry out clean-up and provide compensation.

Pabung Kodim 0411/KM Major Inf Agus Waluyo said "Giving this compensation is a form of compassion, our (TNI) attention to Warakawuri, Veterans and also orphans in commemoration of the 78th Kartika Fighting Day," he said .

"Apart from that, this activity is intended as a means of maintaining ties of friendship, establishing communication and strengthening brotherhood, by creating one big TNI family bond which must be maintained properly," he concluded. (DL)
