The TNI Kodim 0411/KM Community Service activity on the second day (Friday 08/12/2023) was carrying out reforestation by planting 1000 trees in anticipation of flooding and the emergence of disease outbreaks at the Capit Urang Tourism, Purwoasri Village, North Metro District.

The TNI Service Work was opened directly by Dandim 0411/KM Lt. Col. Arh Rendra Febrandari Suparman, S.I.P. with around 350 participants consisting of TNI personnel (Kodim 0411/KM), Metro Police, Metro City Regency Government along with District and Village officials, Sat Pol PP, Hipakad, Metro City Chinese Indonesian Marga Social Association (PSMTI), FKPPI, Purwoasri Community United, the Scouts of Taruna Gajah Mada High School, Metro City and the Community of Environmentalists and the surrounding community.


Meanwhile, the Metro Police Chief was represented by North Metro Police Chief AKP Andrianus, the Metro City DPRD Chairman was represented by Deputy Chairman Ahmad Khusaini, the Metro City Kajari was represented by the Head of Sub-Subsi B Intel Nanda, Kasdim 0411/KM Mayor Inf Wawan Cahya Gunawan, S.H., Pabung Lamteng Mayor Inf Agus Waluyo, the Pasi and Danramil ranks, Head of Metro City Hub Helmi, Head of Metro City Environment Department represented by Edwar, Head of North Metro District Wilastri, S.IP., MM., Head of Villages in North Metro District and Chairman of PSMTI Metro Handi Tjcahndrianto.



On this occasion Dandim 0411/KM, in his speech said, "The TNI service carried out is in order to anticipate floods and the emergence of disease outbreaks in the Kodim 0411/KM and Lamteng areas, one of the efforts we are making is carrying out reforestation by planting trees, " he said.

"The benefits of reforestation and planting trees that will be obtained include, apart from being a natural fertilizer, namely that it can also be an effort to prevent soil erosion, maintain air quality, control climate, create new ecosystems, reduce pollution, prevent flooding and improve water quality. ," continued Dandim.



"With this TNI Service, it is hoped that it can create good synergy between the TNI, POLRI and other stakeholders, it is also hoped that it will be an effort to further strengthen and create a good relationship between the TNI and the people," he concluded.

The 1000 tree seeds planted include Acacia, Petai, Avocado, Mango, Guava and Durian trees. (DL)
