Members of the Koramil 411-15/Kalirejo Kodim 0411/KM First Sergeant Een Setiyono provided assistance during the Counseling Guidance activities held by SMK M 1 Kalirejo, Central Lampung. Saturday (03/06/2023)

The activity which was held in the Hall of SMK M 1 Kalirejo was attended by Counseling Guidance (BK) Teachers of SMK M 1 Kalirejo Imam Santoso, S.Pd. with the agenda of providing guidance and advice to 32 students with problems.

The existence of Babinsa itself in the school environment has been closely intertwined, especially in the Koramil 15/KR target area, for that First Sergeant Een Setiyono explained, "Guidance and counseling cannot be separated from the world of education, where there are times when students who are in the learning obstacle," he said.

"It's all part of the student's process of adapting when experiencing physical, mental and spiritual changes, closely related to the existence of internal and external environmental influences, where students' unpreparedness for the problems they face tends to lead students to deviant behavior," he continued.

First Sergeant Een accompanies BK Teacher Imam Santoso, S.Pd. anticipating deviations experienced by students by continuing to provide guidance and coaching on the development of behavior/morals of SMK M 1 Kalirejo students.

"The function of guidance and counseling in an educational institution is very important to maintain synergy with the Territorial Unit, in this case the 411-15/KR Koramil in fostering its special area for the nation's next generation," he concluded.

BK teacher Imam Santoso, S.Pd. very grateful for Babinsa's active role in paying attention to the mental development of the next generation, "It is very necessary to have a function in reducing or dealing with the problems being faced by students, for that our school works together with the Koramil 15/KR in guidance and counseling programs and services for deviant behavior from students," he said.

"Babinsa plays an active role in providing input, solutions and concrete actions outside the context of often being a ceremonial supervisor or filling in other extra-curricular activities, and specifically in the field of guidance and counseling, I, as the counseling teacher at SMK M 1 Kalirejo, prioritize guidance and counseling methods. Islamically," he continued.

"The highlight is Babinsa providing guidance with the scope of defending the country, love for the motherland and also national insight so that it is hoped that troubled students will soon be released from the shackles of the problems they are experiencing," he concluded. (DL)
