Kodim 0411 / LT and Koramil ranks mourned by raising the Half-Pole Red and White Flag as a form of respect for the former Army Chief of Staff, the late General TNI (Purn) Wismoyo Arismunandar, who died on Thursday (28/1/2021) this morning at around 04.29 WIB at Pondok Indah Hospital, South Jakarta. The late General TNI (Purn) Wismoyo Arismunandar died due to illness and will be buried militarily in Giribangun, Solo, Central Java (Jateng). Alm. General TNI Purn Wismoyo Arismunandar, born in Bondowoso, East Java, February 10, 1940 from the pair Arismunandar and Sri Wurja is the 17th Kasad who served from March 23, 1993 to February 8, 1995.

Previously, the deceased served as Pangkostrad in 1990 and Wakasad in 1992, and most recently served as Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) in 1993.

Various state honors awarded to the deceased were Bintang Mahaputera Adipradana, Bintang Yudha Dharma Utama, Bintang Swa Bhuwana Faksa Utama, Bintang Jalasena Utama, Bintang Bhayangkara Utama, and Bintang KEP Utama, and the deceased left a wife named Mrs. Siti Hardjanti Soemoeharjomo and two children named Krisnawati Purwaningrum and Sony Purwono Yudho.
