On the sidelines of supervising and coaching activities for personnel who are members of the 113th Military Manunggal Village Development Task Force (TMMD), Kodim 0411/KM 2022 in Restu Buana Village and Bina Karya Buana Village, Rumbia District, Central Lampung Regency, Kasdim 0411/KM Mayor Inf Bagus Setiawan, S. Sos. joined the mingling with the children of Kampung Restu Buana who were playing marbles, Saturday (14/05/2022).
According to Kasdim, the activity of playing marbles with the village children is one part of the non-physical target of the 113th TMMD activity, where this traditional game is already seen as rare because of technological advances that are currently developing.
"We hope that by occasionally mingling with children in their playing activities, it can instill the spirit of nationalism in them. It is really sad if traditional games which generally involve togetherness have to disappear with games that are currently starting to take hold of togetherness in children's growth period," said Chaldean.
For Kasdim, playing games will make children aloof, eager to win and win, when in fact winning at level one will meet level two and so on.
"Emotions of children who often play games will look critical and apathetic, their brains will experience fatigue because they want to win, even though the level is actually endless, we compare it with traditional games, requiring partners to play it, victory is not comparable to the happiness they achieve, in the game will cause sweat so it's healthy," he explained.
"Hopefully, with the presence of the 113rd TMMD in their village, the game of togetherness will blossom again and continue to be maintained," hoped Kasdim.
Meanwhile, the togetherness between the TMMD Task Force personnel and the community was also seen at the physical target location of Telford/Road Pavement 1,820 M x 2.5 M, Bina Karya Buana Village. The TMMD Task Force and the community together arranged porcelain stones on the road.
Although the work is manual, namely by arranging porcelain stones one by one using both hands and it looks slow, but with togetherness and full of enthusiasm, the Task Force and the Community are confident that they will be able to meet the planned targets. (DL)
