Military District Command 0411 / LT held a joint prayer in commemoration of 1 Muharram 1442 H / 2020 M with the theme "With the Spirit of the Islamic New Year 1442 H / 2020 AD We Increase TNI Synergy Together with All National Components Toward a New Life Order", at the Al It-Tihad Mosque. Makodim 0411 / LT Jl. Veteran No. 29 Bedeng 22 West Hadimulyo, Metro City, Wednesday (19/08/2020).


The activity was led directly by Dandim 0411 / LT Lt. Col. Inf Andri Hadiyanto attended by the Chairman of Persit KCK Branch XXXI Dim 0411 Koorcab Rem 043 Ny. Novi Andri Hadiyanto, Kadim 0411 / LT Major Inf Bagus Setiawan, S.Sos, Staff Officers, Danramil 411-01 / Metro Captain Arh Mukrim, Members and PNS Kodim 0411 / LT as well as persit administrators.

Through this commemoration, in his remarks the Dandim invited him to get closer to Allah SWT, by always trying to increase faith and devotion.

"In commemorating and welcoming the Islamic New Year 1442 H / 2020 M, which is currently still in the state of the Covid 19 pandemic, we must continue to implement the Health Protocol Discipline, hopefully we will always avoid the Covid 19 disease and hopefully the Covid 19 pandemic will end quickly". said the Dandim.

"In order to welcome the Islamic New Year 1442 H / 2020 M, let us all pray for the safety of all of us and the Indonesian nation", he added.

Muharram month is the beginning of the Hijri year, for Muslims this month is known as a glorious and praiseworthy month. Rasulullah himself said that the month of Muharram is the month of Allah. Therefore, in welcoming the Islamic New Year, Muslims will try to increase worship and good deeds. Spearheaded by the Caliph Umar bin Khattab this commemoration is intended to remember the hijrah incident of the Prophet Muhammad in upholding Islam.

Before leading the Islamic New Year prayer, Pelda Subadri took the words of Allah SWT which were contained in Surah Ar-Ra'd : 11 which means as follows "Surely Allah will not change the condition of a people before they change their own condition".

This verse is a verse that motivates Muslims to always make changes in their daily lives. A month in which Muslims reflect on each other for the past and make evaluations of better deeds in the future.

The activity, which began at 15.30 WIB, ended in an orderly and safe manner until 16.15 WIB. (DL)
