Kodim 0411/KM Conducts TNI Community Service Activity (Semester II, Fiscal Year 2026) in Kota Gajah Timur


CENTRAL LAMPUNG — The 0411/Metro City (KM) Military District Command successfully conducted the TNI Community Service Activity (*Karya Bakti*) for the second semester of the 2026 fiscal year, centered in Kota Gajah Timur Village, Kota Gajah District, Central Lampung Regency. Friday (September 11, 2026).


The three-day event, held from September 9 to 11, 2026, carried the theme "Indonesian Army Community Service: Strengthening Regional Resilience to Realize an Advanced Indonesia."


This series of activities encompasses both physical and non-physical objectives designed to accelerate village development while fostering the bond between the TNI (Indonesian National Armed Forces) and the community. The physical objectives include constructing a 450-meter roadbed, building a culvert to support road drainage, renovating a *mushola* (small prayer hall), and conducting a community-wide cleanup of the residential area through *gotong royong* (mutual cooperation).


The non-physical objectives for the first day consisted of sessions on national insight (*Wasbang*), national defense, and patriotism. The second day focused on the prevention and dangers of narcotics, while the third day was dedicated to general public health education.


This *Karya Bakti* (community service) initiative involves a massive daily contingent of 143 personnel drawn from various sectors, comprising 50 TNI (military) personnel, 4 TNI civil servants, 3 local government staff, 3 National Police officers, 4 district-level representatives, 4 community figures (representing religious, civic, and youth groups), 25 Scouts, and 50 local residents.


This TNI *Karya Bakti* (community service) initiative represents a tangible synergy between the territorial personnel of Kodim 0411/KM and local government authorities, extending down to the village level. The presence of TNI soldiers in the community was met with great enthusiasm and a positive response from local government officials and all residents of Kampung Kota Gajah Timur.


District Military Commander (Dandim) 0411/KM, Lieutenant Colonel (Infantry) Noval Darmawan, S.H., M.I.P., emphasized that this TNI *Karya Bakti* (Community Service) initiative is not merely about physical infrastructure development; rather, it is a manifestation of the TNI's duty to help alleviate the hardships faced by the people within its territorial jurisdiction.

"Through this *Karya Bakti* activity, we aim to rekindle the spirit of *gotong royong* (mutual cooperation), which lies at the root of the nation's strength. The physical construction of roads and culverts is intended to improve the residents' economic well-being, while the non-physical objectives aim to strengthen unity, the fighting spirit, and national defense awareness in order to bolster regional defense," he asserted.


The entire series of TNI *Karya Bakti* (community service) activities for the second semester of the 2026 fiscal year, conducted by Kodim 0411/KM in Kota Gajah Timur Village, officially concluded on Friday, September 11, 2026, at 15:30 WIB, in a safe and orderly manner and in an atmosphere of warm camaraderie.
